He’s the highest valued player in the world, a World Cup winner and a global star. And Liverpool fans think Kylian Mbappe may be heading to Anfield this transfer window after finding another clue on social media.
This latest round of Mbappe to Liverpool rumors was kicked off by The Times journalist Paul Joyce who is respected as one of the best reporters at breaking Liverpool transfer stories.

He retweeted an Mbappe tweet of the player visiting America and meeting Liverpool shareholder LeBron James. Now the two are both Nike sportsmen so that is not unusual but LeBron is seen in the video wearing a Liverpool hat and so began speculation.
Now a second hint has been found after Reds found that Kylian Mbappe is following both Mohamed Salah and Steven Gerrard on Instagram. He only follows 250 accounts so Liverpool fans are at least suggesting there may be something in it!

In the hours before the Champions League final Liverpool owner John W. Henry went on record as saying the Reds were going to spend this summer to bolster the squad. The immediate response was a flurry of ‘Announce Mbappe‘ tweets. Maybe that wasn’t such a joke after all!
