Liverpool fans are reacting to the news that transfer target Adrien Rabiot appears to have chosen Juventus as his next destination.

If the definition of a transfer saga is a rumor that continues through many transfer windows then Adrien Rabiot to Liverpool counts as one but it could be coming to a close. The French midfielder seem to have picked Juventus to be his next destination.

The Mirror has the report that Rabiot has plumped to join the Serie A champions rather than Liverpool or Bayern Munich.

Manchester United were pushing hardest, laying on extravagant wages to lure him to Old Trafford. Their midfield was in a desperate state last season but the combination of no Champions League football and the comical appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes the lucrative package untenable for the PSG star.

Liverpool were strongly linked to the midfielder in the latter months of 2018 before he looked all set to complete a deal to Barcelona. However the Spaniards pivoted to sign Frenkie de Jong instead leaving speculation Rabiot could end up on Merseyside.

I wonder what Emre Can is thinking now. Juventus have added both Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot on free transfers to play in midfield. The ex-Liverpool player was already behind Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Rodrigo Bentancur in the Juve pecking order.
