There’s big news about Liverpool squad selection for the Norwich City game while progression has been made on three separate deals this week.
It’s been speculated that the Reds will miss Sadio Mane for the first game of the Premier League season as Senegal have reached the final of the African Cup of Nations.
Mane will be given three weeks off following the conclusion of the competition, which takes his rest period past the curtain raiser against the Canaries.
Senegal needed extra time to beat Tunisia in the semi-final. They will now face Manchester City man Riyad Mahrez’s Algeria in the final on the 9th of August.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has give all the players three weeks off following the conclusion of their summer national duties and should he follow the same precedent it’ll mean Mane misses the Norwich game.
Meanwhile, there have been some movements on the transfer front – although nobody is coming into the side.
Huddersfield Town have signed goalkeeper Kamil Grabara on loan, although not before he put pen to paper on fresh terms with the Reds.
Grabara made 16 appearances for Aarhus during the second half of last campaign and will now head to the Terriers with the hope of completing a debut Championship season.
Meanwhile Liverpool duo Herbie Kane and Ben Woodburn are both wanted by Hull City, who want to use their links to the club to get those deals across the line.
Tigers gaffer Grant McCann had Kane at Doncaster Rovers this season and it must be tempting to let the midfielder reunite with the man who put so much trust in him during the League One season.
Harry Wilson spent time on Humberside and did well, and fans must be hoping that Woodburn can kick on in similar fashion. His spell at Sheffield United was a waste of time, and the Welsh international will nee to do better with this one.
