Arsenal Twitter is getting very jealous of the success Liverpool has had in the transfer market over the past few years.
The Reds have been getting things right, we all know that. Everyone else in the Premier League glances towards our patch with envy, but now they’re doing it in public.
Twitter is a great space for a whole lot of things, but it just got a whole lot better after legions of Gunners queued up to say how much they wish their club was run like Liverpool.
Up for discussion was Nicolas Pepe, the man who has been linked with a move to Anfield by the Mirror. Pepe, according to the talk, would use Arsenal as a springboard for his further ambitions.

No club wants to be thought of as a stepping stone, especially not a team with the historical success of the Gunners, but when done right it can benefit the club as a whole.
Philippe Coutinho endured a long transfer saga and was eventually sold to Barcelona for big bucks, which Liverpool used to revamp the squad and sign Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho.
All of those players then contributed to the historic season the Reds just had as they won the Champions League and finished second in the league with a 97 point haul.
Of course things are changing at Merseyside. All of Jurgen Klopp’s key players have been signed to long-term contracts that are successfully warding off interest in them.
From selling their best assets to keeping them and challenging for high honours – Liverpool have undergone a quiet revolution and that’s something Arsenal haven’t done yet.
It appears like Liverpool are going to keep their powder dry this season by not signing any first team players, although a few national journalist have reported that this may change in the next few days.
