A proposed loan deal between Liverpool and Bournemouth for winger Harry Wilson has been labelled as a ‘farce’ by angry fans.
Dominic King from the Daily Mail has reported that the Cherries want to sign Wilson as they face up to three months without David Brooks – news that has divided the Reds fanbase.
Liverpool will only let Bournemouth sign the Welsh international if they give they promise the youngster will play a certain amount of games, wrote King, who also added that talks are progressing.
And that certainly makes sense. There is no point sending Wilson off to another top flight side without the security of him getting game time.

Klopp has already tried to turn on the charm offensive by promising the forward minutes on the field if he stays at Liverpool, but regular Premier League football is clearly the best thing for his development.
And his departure would weaken the overall level of the squad, there is no need for the level of hysteria shown by Liverpool fans. This move is certainly not a ‘farce’, as some have called it on Twitter.
Klopp was able to compete for the league title and won the Champions League with less strength in depth then he currently has now.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Rhian Brewster and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can all play across the front three roles – while expecting Liverpool to spend massive money on a back-up isn’t realistic.
So if Wilson leaves, there will still be four players who can fill in with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino or Mohamed Salah need to take some time off.
There needs to be some more trust in the process, trust in Klopp and understanding that they’re operating with the needs of Liverpool and the players in mind. If Wilson stays, brilliant. If not, let’s hope he gets the chance to improve and come back a better footballer.
