Liverpool starlet Bobby Duncan has been offered to an unnamed Swedish side on loan as Jurgen Klopp seeks to get him playing first team football.
The Reds starlet was on fire last season and The Athletic have reported that Duncan could still make a temporary move abroad.
Liverpool journalist Simon Hughes wrote in a deadline day Q+A hosted on their website (subscription required) that Klopp wants Duncan to get experience in a foreign league because it helps ‘broaden the mind’.
Hughes added that the striker could still move and that he was offered to ‘at least’ one club in Sweden as the Reds look to build on his incredible U18 campaign.

Klopp definitely isn’t shy of sending his young talents abroad as defender Nathaniel Phillips joins the loan crew. Phillips is currently playing for Stuttgart in Bundesliga. 2 while Ryan Kent also spent some time in Germany.
Duncan scored 23 goals and provided eight assists as he forged an unstoppable relationship with fellow forward Paul Glatzel, who hit the back of the net 21 times in all competitions.
With transfer windows still open around Europe, there is still time for the 18-year-old to secure his first move away from Anfield and make his senior debut.
Scandinavian leagues have brought through a huge amount of talent in their time and it’s not unusual to see starlets thrown into the deep end as soon as they’re good enough.
Duncan’s weight of goals suggests that he’s a cut above youth level, but only time will tell if he’ll carry this early promise through into the cutthroat world of first team football.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the Reading Chronicle has reported that Ovie Ejaria has left the club to join Reading on loan until the end of the season. The Royals will have an obligation to buy him after that, said James Pearce on the Athletic Q+A.
The fee will be £3 million, which could rise to £3.5 million.
