Liverpool ambassador Michael Owen will annoy Reds again by picking Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson in an ESPN quiz.

Michael Owen continues to test his relationship with Liverpool fans by picking rivals Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson in a quick fire quiz video on the ESPN website.

It is a 90 second ‘either/or’ quiz where they fire out a list of two options and he has to pick one. The quiz starts with harmless stuff like ‘Sunday roast or curry?’ and ‘crisps or chocolate?’. (He picked Sunday roast and chocolate).

Then the questions become a little more controversial by making him pick between ‘Alan Partridge and Alan Shearer’. He chooses the comic character after his recent spat with his former Newcastle and England colleague.

He then gets asked to pick between ‘Wembley or Anfield’ and ‘Steven Gerrard and Paul Scholes’. He plumps for the Liverpool option both times but then changes tack in the next two questions.

When asked to choose between ‘Roy Evans and Sir Alex Ferguson’ he goes for Fergie. He is then given the option of ‘Manchester United or Newcastle United’ he picks Man Utd.

Liverpool Football Club have long been criticized for having Owen as an official ambassador for the club after his spell at Old Trafford and his enjoyment of his time there.

Fans struggle to see why the club would allow someone with connection to our fiercest rivals represent the club when players like John Arne Riise and Daniel Agger would be more popular with the fans.

Owen is being mentioned again as he is the last Liverpool player to win the Balon d’Or. This year Virgil van Dijk is the heavy favorite to take the award last won by a Red in 2001.
