Liverpool fans are cracking up at Man City star Kevin de Bruyne after his petty reaction to his team’s defeat on social media yesterday.
Liverpool Football Club are five points clear at the top of the Premier League table after they beat Newcastle at Anfield at Man City lost to Norwich City. Apparently the City stars are not taking it well after Kevin de Bruyne reacts on social media.
In the wake of the Man City defeat many rival fans were quick to pronounce that Liverpool fans think they’ve already won the league in September.

I know *a lot* of Reds and almost all of them are paranoid, pessimists. Those who aren’t have been hurt too many times to be convinced after five games!
Obviously rival fans are engaged in a lot of projection and simple bitterness. They hate the idea that we might win the league so are desperate to make us seem ‘unbearable’. Okay lads.
One Man City fan hopped on to Kevin de Bruyne’s Instagram comments after his post about their defeat to declare “Yaah , But Congratulations to Liverfool Finally have won Epl 😂 👏”
And the Belgian star liked the comment. I’m not sure if it was the suspect spelling, the absence of grammar or the “Liverfool” name twist that caught de Bruyne’s attention. Perhaps it was the entire composition.

Reds found this hilarious. The common response is that they are “obsessed” with Liverpool and that the club live “rent free” in their heads.
There are 33 more Premier League games to played and no-one can feel certain about anything at this point. However we saw how close last season’s title race was and how many points both sides accrued.
Dropping any points has huge consequence in the 2019/20 title race and the Man City dressing room knows it.
