“It’s Liverpool’s year” – Kevin de Bruyne vague injury report causing Man City fans to panic

Liverpool rivals Man City will miss Kevin de Bruyne for at least one game with a groin injury but a vague analysis is causing the City fans to panic.
Every season contains injuries for both Liverpool and their rivals though some feel more important than others. Man City confirmed they will miss star midfielder Kevin de Bruyne for their Champions League clash but he could be out for longer.
The Belgian picked up a groin injury against Everton on Saturday in their 3-1 victory on Merseyside.

He was replaced by Bernardo Silva after 80 minuted and then missed Monday’s training session ahead of today’s Champions League group stage fixture against Dinamo Zagreb.
Sky Sports are reporting Man City confirming that he will miss the game and have given a vague injury report:
“Kevin De Bruyne suffered a groin injury in the win over Everton and will miss tonight’s game against Dinamo Zagreb. The extent of his layoff depends on how well he responds to the rehabilitation programme overseen by the club’s medical staff.”
They are not committing to any timeline whatsoever for de Bruyne. That is always bad news for fans who know clubs are always trying to allay fears. The response has been typically pessimistic from some supporters:
Fans are already speculating that de Bruyne will miss their weekend Premier League fixture with Wolverhampton Wanderers. There is an international break after that which will give them time to assess him and give him time to recover.
Liverpool have some injuries of their own with Jurgen Klopp confirming that Joel Matip picked up a knock against Sheffield United and will be assessed before the Champions League matchup with Red Bull Salzburg.
Xherdan Shaqiri is still out but Alisson Becker is back in full training but it remains unknown if he can feature on Wednesday night at Anfield.
