Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster has talked about his preferred formation on FIFA 20 and how he shoehorns himself into the first eleven.
It’s only natural for Rhian Brewster to want to feature more for Liverpool but with three world-class players ahead of him it is a tough ask. However, he has one solution that he uses on FIFA 20; a 4-2-4 formation!
Brewster was speaking to the Mirror at the premier of FIFA 20 and spoke about how he includes himself into the Reds first team when he plays:
“I put myself up front”

Naturally, but that doesn’t mean any of the front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane miss out as he explains:
“I don’t [replace any of them]. I play 4-2-4 on FIFA, I play all of us don’t worry about that.”
While that formation can work on a video game, it is very unlikely we will see manager Jurgen Klopp using that set-up any time soon.
The boss is very fond of using a midfield three to work hard to dominate the opposition and wants to keep attacking full-backs meaning the loaded forward is not an option.
He then admits there is another, more realistic, scenario he uses where he can grab the most goals on the popular game:
“Actually, do you know what, to be fair, I normally put myself on the bench and then later when we’re winning I’ll stick myself up front and get some more goals.”
There is fierce competition at Anfield for places in the first team but there is also a battle to see who is the best at FIFA 20 particularly between Brewster and 21-year-old right back Trent Alexander-Arnold. But the striker claims he knows who is top:
“Me. No doubt. I know Trent is going to come in here and talk some nonsense that it is him, but it’s not. It’s me.”
