Hollywood star names pet snake after Luis Suarez!

Hollywood star John Malkovich has named his pet snake after former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez because the reptile likes to bite a lot!
There are a few former Liverpool players that could be called a ‘snake’. But Hollywood actor John Malkovich has gone one step further by naming his pet snake after current Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.
The star has been doing the voice-over for a documentary about Barcelona and decided to name his reptile after the Uruguayan for one reason; the snake loves to bite people!

Germany based Spanish football reporter Juanma Romero has an interview regarding the making of the Barca documentary and quotes:
“From the first moment we thought of John Malkovich (to narrate the series). We went to London to record the voice with him two days. He knew a lot about football. He explained that he has a snake which Suarez calls because he bites a lot! ”
I would name a snake Suarez (or Coutinho) because of how he left Anfield by forcing through a transfer. Malkovich has ended up at the same conclusion because the snake is a bit nippy!
The striker has bitten opponents three times in his career and twice while at Liverpool. The first was for Ajax before he joined the Reds. He bit the shoulder of PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal and was suspended for seven games before joining Liverpool in January 2011.

Then at the end of the 2012/13 season he bit Chelsea defender Branislov Ivanovic on the arm and was suspended by 10 games by the FA. That meant he missed the beginning of the 2013/14 season when Liverpool were challenging for the title under Brendan Rodgers.
At the end of that season he went to the FIFA 2014 World Cup as he was agitating for a move to Barcelona. He bit Giorgio Chiellini during the Uruguay v Italy group stage clash which helped prompt his exit from Anfield.

Let’s hope that the documentary features footage from last season. Specifically Barcelona’s visit to Anfield when they were thrashed 4-0 in the Semi-Final of the Champions League. Maybe I’ll watch it then!
