Many LFC fans have been longing for more creativity in midfield but it appears the club may have their eyes set on a player who could cover for Fabinho in the defensive role or operate as double pivot at the base of the midfield.

The midfielder is only 22-years-old so the club maybe getting ahead of themselves in planning for life after James Milner and Adam Lallana who turn 34 and 32 respectively this season.
