Liverpool transfer: Champions League winner claims Jadon Sancho deal is on

Liverpool have huge interest in a transfer for Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund according to Champions League winning former player Dietmar Hamann.
Liverpool Football Club are interested in bringing Borussia Dortmund of Jadon Sancho to Anfield next summer according to Dietmar Hamann.
The ex-midfielder, who won the Champions League with Liverpool back in 2005, was speaking on Sky Germany about the Bundesliga star and is quoted by the Independent as saying:
“What I hear is that Liverpool have great interest. I would imagine that next summer they could become one of the biggest interested parties.”

There is growing expectation that Sancho will leave BVB next summer. Manchester United tried to make a big move for him in the last transfer window but were turned away. Dortmund sold Christian Pulisic to Chelsea last season and didn’t want to lose both of their wonderkids in the same window.
Sancho has shot to prominence int he last 14 months. He led he assist charts in Germany last year with 14 to his name to go alongside 12 goals. This season has started in similar form with 3 goals and 5 assists in his seven starts.
Hamann believes Liverpool will have the jump on Man Utd in any transfer race due to the player’s time at Man City as a youngster:
“He’s from Manchester City and I do not know if he would come back again, and it’s a thing for Manchester United, too, if they’ve ever been to the rivals.”
Sancho has a friendship with Trent Alexander-Arnold at international level increasing speculation. The news that Nike will be the Reds’ kit manufacturer has sent the rumor mill into overload that the club will sign a big Nike star next year.
The biggest two players linked to Liverpool with endorsement deals from the US sportswear maker are Sancho and Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman will be wanted by every top club in the world, leaving many to believe the English teenager is a more realistic target.
