‘If I have a chance’ has sides fighting for Champions League star
Comments made by a Champions League star have sides fighting for his signature after the latest round of fixtures.
The Mirror has reported that Ajax forward Quincy Promes is open to a Premier League move, which should alert Liverpool and Arsenal.
Promes has starred for the Dutch side since moving to Amsterdam £14.13 million from Sevilla and already has eight league goals three in the Champions League.
After smashing it in Russia for Spartak Moscow, the Spanish side moved for the 27-year-old but that La Liga experiment didn’t work too well and now the flyer is back in his homeland.

66 goals and 33 assists in Moscow cemented his reputation in Eastern Europe but could a move to England be next for Quincy Promes?
The Dutch international scored and assisted during Ajax’s mental 4-4 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that saw the Dutch side got 4-1 up before the Blues hit three unanswered goals to earn a point.
After getting two defenders sent off, it’s a miracle Ajax managed to get through the 90 minutes with any points, and before things went so badly for them Promes was running the show.
When asked if he wanted a spell in the Premier League, Goal reported that Promes said “to me, if I have a chance, maybe in the future.”
Those comments could spark interest in those from the top flight who have thought about bringing the Dutchman to their club. Would he suit the Reds?
Already this season Quincy Promes has played across the front three, which indicates a flexibility that Jurgen Klopp would require. Across his career, Promes has featured as a left winger 73 times, a right winger 95 times, an attacking midfielder 57 times and a centre forward 23 times.
That would appeal to Liverpool, but with Rhian Brewster, Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Harvey Elliot in the squad would there be enough opportunities to play?
