Guinea and England have hyped up the Liverpool fanboys thanks to goals from Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

There are players who divided opinion amongst the Reds supporters but no two do it like Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who have a unique ability to rile people up whether they  are playing or not.

When Jurgen Klopp leaves the boys out of the side, social media is normally awash with negativity and accusations that the German is opting for a much more mundane midfield option.

This get amplified when the side doesn’t play well, or struggles to break down sides.

But then Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita come into the side and try to be more dynamic, lose the ball and get criticised for it. It’s a non-stop circus.

Normally this quietens down over the international break, but both midfielders gave cause for the fanboys to pipe up by scoring for England and Guinea.

The Ox met a Ben Chilwell cross and finished it with his second touch. It was the type of run – bursting behind the Montenegro defence – that few Liverpool midfielders make but Oxlade-Chamberlain seems to have the freedom to do under Klopp.

It was also his fifth goal in the last six games and shows his supreme form and heightened confidence in front of the net.

Keita’s was similar but difference, although it showed the midfielder bursting forward and getting himself into the box.

When he’s on fire, that’s what the former RB Leipzig man is so good at. Those dynamic runs, the energy. He followed up on a rebound and slotted into the net after some good work.

It’s unlikely that we’ll see both of them in action for Liverpool in the same side as it doesn’t offer the back four enough protection, but with their goalscoring exploits for their country the fanboys are going to be out in force.
