Liverpool transfer news: 22-year-old Brazilian playmaker poised for move
By David Gate
Liverpool have received multiple transfer bids for deep-lying playmaker Allan Rodrigues de Souza who is poised to leave without an appearance for the Reds.
Liverpool Football Club will be active in the January transfer window with at least one confirmed incoming move. There will also be departures; the club have received numerous bids for Allan Rodrigues de Souza who is set to leave Anfield.
The 22-year-old Brazilian arrived at the club in 2015 after impressing scouts though he was not eligible for a work permit under current rules. That led to a series of loans to European clubs while the club waited for him to gain eligibility.

He played for SJK in Finland; Sint-Truiden in Belgium; Hertha Berlin in Germany; Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and finally, Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany again.
While showing potential on those loans he failed to progress in the way the club had hoped, leading to him being sent to Fluminense on loan in February 2019, essentially giving up hope of him qualifying for a work permit.
However, he has reached his best form playing in his homeland as a deep-lying playmaker and Fluminense are seeking to make his move to Brazil permanent. Globo Esporte claim they are being joined by Atletico Mineiro in making a bid to Liverpool for his signing.
The bids are around the £2.7 million mark, making a tidy profit on the £500k the club shelled out for him in 2015. There are also likely to be sizable sell-on clauses meaning the Reds will make money if he develops further and makes a big transfer move in the future.
It could be a busy month for the club with the arrival of Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg and players such as Rhian Brewster poised to leave on loan.
