Liverpool turned over Manchester United 2-0 to go 16 points clear at the top of the table as video of Gary Neville watching the game goes viral.

Liverpool kept their title charge running at full speed as they beat Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield yesterday. And the Sky Sports video of Gary Neville commentating is priceless.

Sky had set up a commentary booth camera to observe Neville, Martin Tyler and Jamie Carragher as they announced the crucial Premier League matchup between the fierce rivals.

They uploaded the 5 minute video to YouTube of all the clips from the key moments of the game including both Liverpool goals, two disallowed goals for the Reds and the big miss from Anthony Martial at 1-0 in the second half.

Carragher is surprisingly quiet for the video, allowing Neville to react time and again to the huge disappointment seeing his former club fail so badly at competing with this record-breaking Liverpool side.

Only at the end of the video, after Salah has scored the second goal, does Carragher revel in the situation.

The two best parts of the video are Neville’s clear frustration with the United defending – especially for the disallowed goals – where the Reds were unlucky to have Roberto Firmino‘s goal ruled out.

However, it is when he punches the floor in disgust as Martial blows a late chance as you can tell that was their last hope of stealing a point in a game in which they were clearly the second best side.

There has been a notable change in the tone of conversation around the title challenge after this weekend. As Liverpool won a tough game against a rival and Man City and Leicester City both dropped points, most observers feel like this is, at last, the Reds’ year.
