Liverpool want to sign Mohammed Kudus.
Lorenzo Montaldo has written in Calciomercato about the interest Liverpool have in Mohammed Kudus, even if they aren’t considered to be frontrunners for his signature.
The Nordsjaelland starlet has scored nine goals in 21 appearances and has been capped twice by Ghana, scoring once.
Sampdoria are considered to be interested in the 19-year-old, while Lukman Evergreen Mumin from Ghana Soccernet added that Everton were seriously considering adding the player to their ranks when Marco Silva was boss.
Nordsjaelland have a history of picking up African players through their links with the Right To Dream Academy, and Kudus could be the latest talent that finds a path through to the top five European leagues through Denmark.
They currently have four players in their ranks who made the move from Right To Dream this season. Kudus has been joined by fellow Ghanaians Kamal-Deen Sulemana, Mohammed Diomande, Abu Francis and Maxwell Woledzi.
19-year-old Isaac Atanga, also from Right To Dream, has played 25 games this campaign and scored seven goals. This is a really interesting facet of Nordsjaelland, who are making their overseas links count.

They’re clearly a club who isn’t afraid to sell their top prospects but they’re also a side in which value can be found. Their highest fee received is for Emre Mor, who joined Borussia Dortmund for £8.78 million in 2016/2017.
This should make any deal for Kudus, who is currently valued at £2.43 million, fairly affordable and shouldn’t necessarily be one that breaks the bank.
He’s a really interesting player, too, who can play as a central forward or as a central midfielder. He’s essentially split his time between the two roles this season, with 10 games up front and nine back in the engine room.
Scandinavia certainly seems one of the undervalued markets around the world today, but whether or not recruits from there can adjust to the Premier League is another matter.
Recent big moves such as Andreas Skov Olsen have done well away from Denmark, as have the league’s record departures Robert Skov (Hoffenheim, £9 million) and to a lesser extent, Denis Vavro (Lazio, £9.45 million).
Will Mohammed Kudus be given the same chance? Jurgen Klopp likes to have versatile players in his locker, but there’s already a cohort of excellent youngsters and Kudus might struggle to get a look-in.
