Liverpool fans are amazed by James Milner.
The midfielder never seems to age and the preseason friendly against Blackburn Rovers was a fine example of that.
James Milner is one of the fittest, if not the fittest, players in the squad and he showed his fine powers of recovery in one highly impressive clip.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp relies on him to set the tone in the dressing room and on the field. The German has spoken about the influence Milner has on the rest of the side, called him a ‘proper leader’ and said he is ageing like a fine wine – wrote Miguel Delaney in the Independent.

"He said: “Millie is a proper leader.“Millie is like wine, I like this idea as well. A very good red one. I’m not sure if Leeds is famous for wine? He’s getting better.”"
The former Leeds United starlet will make sure standards are kept high throughout the rest of the season and he’ll be on of the main men driving this team to bigger and better things.

Milner can do it on the field as well, which this incredibly well received clip shows.
Blackburn might have been poor opposition but that makes his feat even more impressive. The midfielder was still showing the dogged determination and tenacity that’s characterised his whole career in a friendly game that was essentially a walk in the park.
Liverpool are back in action on Monday 21 June as they’ll look to give Everton a lessen at Goodison Park. Following that, they’ll welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield followed by Manchester City.
If all goes to plan the title will be wrapped up by the time Pep Guardiola welcomes Klopp to Manchester.
By then it could be a glorified victory parade against the side that was supposed to be the Reds’ biggest challengers this season.
You can be sure that Milner will be snapping around City’s midfield, driving his mates on to do better and keeping the standards impeccably high at all times.
