Another big game, another big game midfield. Klopp and Liverpool have got several options to pick from but this is his favoured combination when things need to go right.

Fabinho had such a great game against Palace as he gave us flashes of being back to his best. The Octopus was back as he hoovered up possession, made tackles, created Mohamed Salah’s fantastic goal and then scored his own screamer.
When he played in between Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson, it gives Gini and Hendo the room to move further forward.
Time and time again Henderson has proven that he’s not just a holding midfielder. When he drifts around on the right of the three, the former Sunderland man can get up the field, provide protection to Alexander-Arnold and whip in dangerous crosses from deep.
Hendo can also take up a dangerous positions just outside the box and hoover up those second balls.
Wijnaldum is a pretty similar threat, although he’s better at bursting into the box or using his wack ability to never be tackled to shimmy through the lines and work around or off Roberto Firmino.
This is the most balanced Liverpool midfield and we’ll see it on Thursday.
