Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, James Milner

The Scot looked clearly mentally fatigued and, in want of a better word, hungover as the Reds seemed leaky and lazy on Thursday.
And this means a recall at fullback for James Milner, who also started there in the Merseyside Derby, to face his former club.
He will take the captains armband.
Joe Gomez was also poor – but with the season ending injury to Joel Matip I consider it highly unlikely that he will be rotated with the much maligned Dejan Lovren.
Another talking point may be the inclusion of Neco Williams over Trent Alexander-Arnold to earn the Welshman a medal, but the argument is to break down a deep Villa back-line, the Reds will need his creativity from the wide areas more than ever.
Do we need to even discuss big Virgil?
