Liverpool must move for Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell.
With the Canaries facing relegation, Liverpool have an opportunity to nick a very good footballer who will be looking to find a home in the Premier League.
I’m speaking of Todd Cantwell. Jurgen Klopp has already said on multiple occasions this term that he likes this player, his work rate, drive and hunger. At 22 years of age he is a young player with a wealth of talent and a bright future.
A natural left side midfielder, Cantwell has energy and pace down the flank, but he isn’t afraid to play defensive football.
This is a man who has all hallmarks of a Klopp protege, both in commitment and technical ability.
His current market value is at €22m, and for that kind of cash layout he is a steal. If Liverpool do not move on him, then Chelsea or Arsenal, Sheffield United and others will be in the hunt for his services.
His ideal position is on the left wing and Liverpool need this kind of player with Adam Lallana leaving this summer, and Xherdan Shaqiri likely to be going too.

I can even see Klopp dropping him in Andy Robertson’s defensive back position which makes for an interesting scenario.
Neco Williams can fill here, but his natural position is on the other side as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s relief.
I believe Klopp can and would convince Cantwell to take on that left defensive back role with an eye for bombing forward much like Robertson and Alexander-Arnold do now. Perhaps?
He is young enough to be able to learn defensive structure and make this transition. He has excellent skills with the ball at his feet and he is a spot-on passer of the ball.
He has a full season of Premier League under his belt and has garnered a good deal of attention this term, proving he can play with the big boys.
Either way, Todd Cantwell is a diamond in the rough as they say, just the kind of player Klopp is looking to manage at Liverpool.
They should go and get him without hesitation.
