Liverpool’s transfer window isn’t over yet.
On Sunday night, there was a gaping void in Liverpool’s attack. It could be felt on the pitch, in the stands and through the television. The Reds’ lacked Sadio Mane’s pressing. The Senegalese winger’s absence was a dire mark of just how much Liverpool rely on their right winger.
While Diogo Jota’s arrival has strengthened the attacking department, it is clear the Portuguese might be a better option on the other flank or more centrally. Jota’s a superb talent and in time he could be an astute replacement for Mohamed Salah.
But Jurgen Klopp also needs someone of the same ilk as Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese’s compatriot Ismaila Sarr could be the perfect option.
Having come through the same academy in Senegal, both have been tipped for stardom by Generation Foot’s Mady Toure.
Their first destination in Europe was both at French outfit FC Metz, and while their paths have diverged after leaving the French side, their final destination could steer them back on the same path.

Ismaila Sarr has the same tenacity and perpetual inclination to press as Sadio Mane, his pace and directness is just as effective as the Liverpool winger’s. It is why Sarr could be the perfect option for the Reds.
The Reds were linked with the Watford youngster all summer and it seems the club could still make a move for Ismaila Sarr.
According to a report by the Echo, the Reds ‘could still sign’ Ismaila Sarr with the EFL window still open.
If Ismaila Sarr’s performance against the Reds earlier on in the year is anything to go by, the Reds could have another special player on their hands and a more than astute option for Sadio Mane.
Would you be happy with the arrival of Ismaila Sarr?
