Liverpool could land a huge coup.
Over the past few months, Liverpool fans have been dealt pure joy at Manchester United’s miserable transfer pursuits. The Red Devils desperately tried to sign Jadon Sancho during the entire summer with no avail. And now it seems the club’s arch rivals stand no chance of luring Sancho to Old Trafford.
Man United’s loss could be Liverpool’s gain however.
According to the Independent’s Miguel Delaney speaking to the Anfield Wrap via Rousing the Kop, Sancho would ‘prefer’ a move to Anfield next summer.

There is no doubt the Reds will be looking to add extra ammunition. With Salah and Mane both nearing their thirties and the African Cup of Nations being hosted next season which will see the club lose their two star men for a considerable period, Sancho’s arrival could herald the construction of Klopp’s future Liverpool side.
The Borussia Dortmund winger is regarded as one of the best winger’s in the world at the moment. He has been on superb form over the past few seasons and there is no doubt his pace and skillset could be perfect suited to Klopp’s explosive style of play.
Perhaps one concern will be Sancho’s lack of contribution defensively. The England international is not known to be an aggressive presser which means he might struggle to fit into the club’s system.
Nonetheless, it is a system which Klopp has been able to integrate some of the best players in the world into. Salah himself wasn’t the best pressing machine prior to his arrival at Liverpool but Klopp was able to hone the Egyptian and mould him to suit the club’s system.
There is no doubt the Reds are concocting a big attacking signing next summer. Talks of Kylian Mbappe have also resurfaced and if the club have another strong campaign there is no reason why they could not attract either Mbappe or Jadon Sancho.
Either one would be an astute addition for the Reds. There is no doubt Jadon Sancho could cause major havoc on the wings. And the prospect of a potential front three of Salah, Mane and Sancho is mouth watering.
The added bonus of United’s misery will be an extra icing on the cake.
Would you be happy if Liverpool signed Jadon Sancho? Or would Mbappe be a better signing?
