Liverpool look to have solved a major enigma.

Jurgen Klopp’s reputation when it comes to developing young talent is renowned in the world of football. The German coach has built the careers of some of the best talent in the game from Robert Lewandowski to Mario Gotze. And at Liverpool, he was crucial to the development of the vast majority of the current playing squad.

Of course football is a fast paced game and you have to act fast if you don’t want to lag behind.

Klopp and his backroom staff are already working on establishing next year’s playing squad and their eye is perpetually on the future.

When the Reds brought in the Premier League’s youngest ever player in Harvey Elliott last summer, it was almost certainly with the future in mind.

The 17 year old star has already played in an impressive nine games for the club and has shown his raw potential often marauding through thickets of defenders and setting up his teammates on platters.

Harvey Elliott’s playing time has been hugely impressive considering he is fighting for a starting spot against players like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or a place in the bench with stars like Xherdan Shaqiri and Oxlade-Chamberlain as well as Divock Origi.

With the addition of Diogo Jota, the 17 year old teenager is expected to feature even less in the first team.

Especially with the club eliminated from the League Cup

And while playing in the reserves wouldn’t have been a major set-back, it seems Klopp has solved his dilemma for Harvey Elliott with the perfect solution.

The German has decided to allow Harvey Elliott to depart on loan to Championship outfit Blackburn.

That is according to various reports via the Daily Mirror.

The Championship will provide Harvey Elliott with the perfect platform to polish his game and he will learn how to cope with the physicality of senior football on a regular basis.

The loan move is therefore the perfect solution for the youngster who will now look to establish himself as a regular in a relatively youthful Blackburn Rovers squad.

Klopp will be hoping his young star comes-back rejuvenated.
