It was a gut wrenching feeling. Watching the Liverpool number four get clattered by an insidious challenge. The way Virgil Van Dijk tumbled to the floor and rolled ominously on the Goodison Park turf made Reds supporters around the globe wince.
There was a bad premonition about the entire thing. Even though Virgil Van Dijk got back on his feet valiantly, the Reds’ warrior had a veil on his face. In his eyes you could see the pain. You could tell he knew it was a serious injury.
