The current Ajax team is one of the most exciting ones in recent memory. Despite the departure of key players like Donny van de Beek, the Ajax outfit have promoted well from within and have made some astute signings.
The likes of Anthony, Ryan Gravenberch and David Neres are definitely some of the most dangerous players for the Dutch football team.
However, arguably Ajax’s biggest dangerman is Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian international is a new signing for the Amsterdam based outfit and he has been in stellar form.
Kudus was crucial in helping Ajax to victory against Heerenveen this weekend. He scored his first goal for the club in the Eredvisie and registered two assists.
The midfielder who is full of energy and pace, has great technical ability and he likes to find the open spaces inside the opposition’s penalty area.
Kudus’ is astute at exploiting holes in the defence and that could prove to be a huge challenge for the Reds’ defence.
It will be vital for the midfield and the defence to keep a close eye on Mohammed Kudus. Another dangerous area will be Ajax’s wingers. Kudus has shown he is exemplary at finding the likes of Anthony, Promes and David Neres in space and with the Reds defensive high line, that could also cause problems.
The game could be decided simply on whether Liverpool will be able to minimalize the threat of Mohammed Kudus.
Do you think Liverpool will be able to keep Mohammed Kudus at bay?
