Exciting American star makes huge Liverpool admission

This American star has his eyes set on Liverpool.
FSG have wrested their American influence on Liverpool Football Club in the decade they have spent at the club. The Reds’ brand is continuing to grow around the globe and in particular in North America.
The club’s latest Nike sponsorship deal is just more proof.
And it seems that influence is starting to be recognised in the professional players coming through from the USMNT.

Brenden Aaronson has been one of the MLS’s brightest talents this season. The 20 year old has netted four times in sixteen appearances and has dictated the play for his hometown club Philadelphia Union.
In January, the young American is heading to Europe. A union with fellow compatriot Jesse Marsch beckons at Red Bull Salzburg. However it seems like Brenden Aaronson is already looking further into the future.
Speaking to Sky Sports via NBC Sports the American midfielder revealed he dreams of playing for Liverpool in the future and he has been a long term supporter of the club ever since he was a child.
"“As long as I can remember I’ve been a Liverpool fan. I have Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres posters in my room, those two were the ones I looked up to. I have Liverpool winning the Champions League above my bed too,”"
In the past, many of Salzburg’s finest production line have gone onto play for the Reds. From Takumi Minamino, Naby Keita to Sadio Mane.
And that would give Brenden Aaronson hope that he can follow in their footsteps.
A technically gifted and agile playmaker, Brenden Aaronson is regarded as one of the finest talents in his home nation and he is expected to fit seamlessly into Red Bull Salzburg’s pressing system.
There are many similarities in terms of tactics between Liverpool and Red Bull Salzburg, so if Brenden Aaronson is capable of thriving in Austria, he might just fulfil his dreams of playing at Anfield.
FSG have been notoriously keen on recruiting an American player to the club. The Reds’ pursuit of Christian Pulisic was no secret.
Perhaps Brenden Aaronson will be the name that FSG will finally earn their bucks from and the player who helps the Reds fully break into the American market.
One thing for sure, based on his performances so far the 20 year old American definitely has the potential to go all the way. He will be joining a club that values development in Salzburg so he has all the tools to fulfil his dreams.
