Liverpool fans have to see this fact.
There are two different people on this earth. Those who see Jordan Henderson for what he is – an outstanding professional. And those who are simply too deprived of clear judgement to recognise the Liverpool captain’s achievements and performances.
For years, Jordan Henderson has been the beating heart of the Reds midfield. The boisterous captain runs like a workhorse on the pitch. He instigates the club’s attacks and is a crucial backbone when the Reds are faced with an onslaught of opposition attacks.

His leadership is imperative. Jordan Henderson is more than just merely a midfielder, he is a player who directs and commands on the pitch. Jurgen Klopp loves him. Brendan Rodgers learned to value him during his time and while some still whispers about Sir Alex Ferguson’s premature statements, those who are impartial cannot deny it any longer – Jordan Henderson is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The criticisms about how Henderson ‘only passes backwards’ or the memes about ‘sideways Henderson’ are archaic. They are defunct and devoid of any vestige of reality.
This gargantuan fact will hopefully silence the critics: Jordan Henderson has made the most forward passes out of any Premier League midfielder this season per 90.
Youri Tielemans is a really special player and his ability to circulate the ball forward and break the opposition lines at will is really impressive. I compared his numbers with other Premier League midfielders this season, with >250 mins. played.

Those are impressive numbers and one that will surely now put to bed those who criticise the Reds’ captain without any credence.
Jordan Henderson is up there with the Premier League’s elite and his penetrative passes going forward will be crucial in the Reds’ campaign this season.
Without Van Dijk, Henderson’s leadership will also be relied upon more than ever. The Reds’ captain often struggles with perpetual injury niggles, but Jurgen Klopp will be hoping he can keep his captain fit this season.
With Henderson and Thiago supplying the front-line, the Reds could still have the recipe for a successful campaign.
It will be a season where scoring goals and launching constant attacks will be even more important due to the club’s vulnerability at the back.
If Jordan Henderson can continue his superb form, the Reds’ quest for a consecutive title might not be in vain.
