Liverpool should try to sign Jose Mourinho’s out of form star to solve problems
By Bence Bocsak
Liverpool should try to do the impossible.
Liverpool and Jose Mourinho have an infamous relationship. Almost instantly after the Portuguese’s arrival in England, he became an infamous figure on the Kop. His attitude and playing style irked the fans and sometimes the club’s coaches too.
Not only has Mourinho managed the Reds’ arch rivals in Manchester United, but he was also involved in the catastrophic tie which ultimately ended the Reds title race in the 2013/14 season. It is fair to say Mourinho hasn’t been and never will be a fan favourite at Anfield.
However, the Reds could benefit from his recent sorrow.

Dele Alli and Jose Mourinho’s relationship is evidently fractured at Tottenham. The English international was substituted at half-time in the club’s recent Europa League qualifier and he has been frequently left out of matchday squads.
It was no secret. Liverpool came a small flicker away from signing the English international prior to his move to Tottenham.
Brendan Rodgers was desperate to bring the then MK Dons man to the club.
Dele Alli, himself is a Liverpool fan who admitted he modelled his game on Steven Gerrard.
While Dele Alli has been out of form recently, the young midfielder is still just 24 years of age and has plenty of time to grow and mature.
Under Jurgen Klopp’s leadership, Dele Alli could be able to regain his form and he could be a valuable asset for the club.
Dele Alli’s work-rate and defensive output has been criticised by Jose Mourinho but Klopp has proven he can change that. He has gotten the best out of players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and has taken every player he has coached to another level.
Somewhere along the way, Dele Alli has lost his way, however, the common adage in football is, form is temporary, class is permanent.
Dele Alli was one of the brightest talents in the Premier League just a few seasons ago. His 63 goals and 55 assists in 228 games is a hugely impressive record for Tottenham and one that could be a major asset to the Reds.
Dele Alli could help solve the club’s false nine option too and he could offer Roberto Firmino some welcome competition.
Do you think he would be a good signing?
