The Liverpool boss will not be happy.
Liverpool’s Egyptian king waltzes through defenders like the most intricate Mozart melody. His moves are delicate, astutely co-ordinated and impossible to stop. When Mohamed Salah is on the ball, the hairs on the nape of your neck stand tall. You feel a tingling sensation all over your body, the kind you get when something special is about to happen. The premonition is usually right too.
In front of goal, Mohamed Salah is deadly, ruthless, lethal. His goal-scoring prowess is well documented at the club and it is what primarily makes him such a key player for Jurgen Klopp.
Without Mohamed Salah, the club are not the same. The threat in attack is not the same.

The Egyptian king makes Jurgen Klopp’s men the formidable force that they are.
With games coming thick and fast, Jurgen Klopp has struggled with the absence of some of his best players this season.
In total the Reds have already had to cope without the likes of Van Dijk, Henderson, Thiago and Mane at certain points of the season. And we are only in November.
Fortunately, Mohamed Salah has been able to play all the games.
And with some distinction as well.
In 11 games in the Champions League and the Premier League so far, Mohamed Salah has already scored 10 goals.
Without his outstanding finishes and deadly prowess, the Reds would have struggled this season. They would have dropped a total of 7 points and would sit around 15th.
While the Reds will not have to worry about Mohamed Salah’s absence for the near future. There is no tangible threat at least. Though a freak injury could change that. However, next season Jurgen Klopp could be without his star man for the beginning of the campaign.
The German has been dealt a major blow with the Egyptian FA confirming that they intend to include Mohamed Salah in their Olympic squad in the summer according to Ahram Online via Inside the Games.
It’s not the news Jurgen Klopp would have wanted to hear. However at least he has plenty of time to prepare and perhaps find the right back-up for Mohamed Salah.
Do you think the Reds will be able to cope without their star talisman?
