Liverpool are set for an exciting January.
After a successful summer transfer window for Liverpool, the club are set to embark on yet another month of speculation, negotiations and potentially more transfers.
Undoubtedly amidst one of the club’s biggest injury crisis, the Reds are likely to try and invest in players and bolster their squad.
However, if an opportunity arises to land a bargain, the club may also look to pounce.
In the summer they acquired a clear direct back-up for Mohamed Salah in Diogo Jota, and in January the Reds can now do the same for Sadio Mane.

According to Football Insider via TeamTalk the Reds are ‘ready’ to make a bid for Reading’s Michael Olise.
The report claims the club could land the exciting Frenchman for as cheap as £8 million.
Michael Olise who has recently turned 19 years of age is regarded as one of the most exciting players in the Championship.
A quick and agile wide-man with the ability to thrive in one on one situations, Michael Olise does resemble shades of Sadio Mane and he could be an ideal back-up for the Senegalese winger.
Olise has 4 goals and 7 assists for Reading this season, and he has also regularly topped charts when it comes to the biggest creators in the division.
Of course Michael Olise would not come directly into the first team, however the French talent is clearly and exciting prospect and at £8 million it would not be a huge gamble for the club to make.
The risk is well worth at that price.
And with plenty of youngsters having impressed this season there is no reason as to why Michael Olise could not follow suit.
One thing for sure, Jurgen Klopp would undoubtedly be pleased with the extra legs.
Michael Olise’s trickery and creative flair could be a valuable asset, especially when the Reds need to unlock deep-block and deep-lying defences.
Have you seen much of Michael Olise? Would you be happy if he came to Anfield?
