Liverpool are looking to make a move for this young star.

They weave through defences at will. Their legs move like cheetahs. The speed unstoppable. Blink and you missed them. Liverpool’s pair are merciless too. In front of goal they are like marksmen with pinpoint accuracy.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have both overcome hardship and set-backs on their way to the top, but are now thriving at Anfield. They are adored by the Kop. However, they are also fallible, and have made mistakes in recent weeks.

It is a sign that the Reds cannot solely rely on their front three. During seasons of the past, what made the Reds great is that others were able to chip in from the bench. Players like Divock Origi who offered an alternative option and playing style as a player who is more direct.

More from Rush The Kop

It’s clear if Klopp wants success he needs to make more attacking additions.

According to the Guardian the Reds are ‘interested’ in Patson Daka who they have tipped for a January move.

Whether the interest is genuine, Patson Daka could be the perfect answer to Liverpool’s woes.

Recently the 22 year old Zambian international has told BBC Sport that he aspires to follow the footsteps of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane hinting about his love for the club yet again.

Patson Daka’s support for the Reds has not been a secret. Speaking to First Time Finish his coach revealed back in autumn that after the Zambian scored a brace against the Reds in pre-season a ‘dream’ of his had come true.

Daka’s father was also a fan of the Reds which makes the Zambian have a special connection with the club.

His passion for the Reds could be a major asset.

However, what makes Patson Daka the perfect target is his ability.

Having played 100 games for Red Bull Salzburg, the youngster has matched Sadio Mane’s record with the Austrian outfit in terms of goals scored.

This season Daka has 20 goal involvements in just 16 games.

He has pace, and the physicality which suits the hustle and bustle nature of the Premier League and  he plays in a team which is used to pressing high meaning he will not have to adapt as much under Jurgen Klopp.

The deal is a no brainer.

Klopp has found his 'own Grealish'. dark. Next
