Liverpool look to beat Pep Guardiola for the ‘next Raheem Sterling’

The rivalry of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp has always transcended the pitch. The current Liverpool and Manchester City bosses have often fought in the transfer market too. Rather fiercely one must admit.
Guardiola the Spaniard has usually ended up as the victor in the past. However, at Liverpool Klopp has not shared the experience with the former Barcelona man.
That could could all change as the Reds look to battle it out for a young talent with the blues of Manchester.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp could make another exciting signing.

City have often tormented the Reds. Undoubtedly one of the cruellest and biggest transfers between the two clubs was the sale of Raheem Sterling.
The Reds’ academy prospect has since become a legend with the Sky blues and his reception is still fairly hostile on Merseyside. The red part anyway.
Raheem Sterling was one of the Reds very own. The club nurtured him and honed him. He was regarded as the future of the club. So to see the young man leave was a dire blow to then manager Brendan Rodgers.
Nonetheless, it seems like the Reds are looking to beat City for a similar transfer. A player who could become the ‘next Raheem Sterling.’
According to the Daily Mail both City and Liverpool are ready to make an offer for Zion Atta.
The 16 year old Crystal Palace winger is regarded as one of the most exciting young Englishman in his age group.
Just like Sterling he’s from London and he could soon be making his way up north.
A tricky and pacey customer, Zion Atta is extremely highly regarded by Crystal Palace. The London based club have a good record of producing talent for the elite level. Some like Nathaniel Clyne have even ended up at Anfield.
But according to many Zion Atta might be the best prospect in decades at Selhurst Park.
According to the Mail’s report Zion Atta is so highly rated he is already represented by super-agent Mino Raiola who has clients like Ibrahimovic, Haaland and Pogba.
The youngster could be the next big thing, and with Liverpool wanting to build a dynasty, as well as the increased need for English players in the aftermath of Brexit, Atta’s addition could be an astute move.
