The eternal love affair between Philippe Coutinho and Liverpool was cruelly ended by Barcelona’s alluring offer for the Brazilian. When Coutinho moved from Anfield to Catalonia no had cared too much. In fact in his absence Liverpool’s little magician was hardly missed.

Maybe in recent months that has definitely changed. Having some of the same ilk as Coutinho could be a huge advantage for the club right now.

Though it’s unlikely, Jurgen Klopp would ever re-sign the tricky midfielder, it is looking more and more likely that another player of Philippe Coutinho’s ilk could end up at Anfield very soon from Brazil.

More from Rush The Kop

According to Brazilian journalist Paulo Brito speaking to Netflu via LFC Transfer Room, the Reds are looking to sign Fluiminese attacker Kayky.

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are looking to build a dynasty,

The 17 year old has the quick feet and acceleration Coutinho was renowned for during his time at Anfield.

On top of that the exciting Brazilian also has the composure and the finish to make him into a complete player.

At 17 years of age he is still raw and if he would arrive at Anfield he would undoubtedly take some time settling into English football, but he could be an exciting addition nonetheless.

Kayky is regarded as one of the best players of his generation in Brazil, and with the Reds desperate to acquire him it’s looking good for Jurgen Klopp and his board.

The recent success of stars like Lucas, Coutinho, Firmino, Fabinho and Alisson will be an alluring prospect for Kayky too.

If the Reds secure his signature it would leave them with some mouth-watering young attacking options.

Harvey Elliott probably the most exciting one is catching the eye in the Championship.

Kai Gordon is set to sign imminently.

Then there is Mateusz Musialkowski.

And potentially Zion Atta arriving at Anfield in the near future.

It’s clear Jurgen Klopp is trying to build a dynasty. And the best way to do that is to secure the future of the club.

These fresh and new exciting arrivals are a marker of exactly that.

Whether Kayky will be a success at Anfield only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, the Brazilian is no longer a trailblazer and he has role models to look up to from his country.

Next. Klopp has his very own Haaland. dark
