Liverpool lineup vs Spurs: 4-3-3 with Jordan Henderson in midfield
CM – Thiago
Liverpool is yet to win a match with the Spanish international in the starting XI but that will certainly change soon, hopefully on Thursday. Thiago has delivered some fine passes on the pitch in the last few matches and will be looking to put in a strong display from midfield against Spurs.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum
The Dutchman has been ever-present for Liverpool this season and while he might need a rest at some point, Thursday’s game is certainly not one for that. Wijnaldum will be starting and will be keen on aiding his team defensively and offensively like the workhorse he has been over the years.
He scored against Spurs in 2018 and this week’s game would be a fine occasion for him to find the net.
CM – Jordan Henderson
The Liverpool captain missed the matches against Burnley and Manchester United due to a minor fitness issue. However, Klopp has confirmed that Henderson has resumed full training.
The England international will most likely start in the position he functions best – in midfield given that Matip will start as well. Henderson will be looking to put in a solid performance in the middle of the park and lead his team to three points on Thursday.
