As much as it hurts to see for Liverpool fans, you cannot deny the indisputable. Bruno Fernandes has single-handedly transformed the Red Devils and has instigated a metamorphosis which is once again helping Liverpool’s arch rivals compete at the pinnacle of the Premier League.

Even the thought of that leaves a bile taste in supporters’ mouths.

Especially, with the Reds in poor form and the club appearing to be rapidly slipping away from the top on a downward trajectory.

The gap between United and Liverpool is a worrying sign for Kopites all over the world. Especially considering how big the gap was the other way around this time last year.

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp need a revival.

Of course for the Reds injuries have played a factor. But the main man behind the resurgence of United has been a single transfer in Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese midfielder has given the club a new purpose and identity.

It’s something with Klopp and his side are lacking at the moment. However they could get a new injection in the summer and sign someone of the same ilk as Bruno Fernandes.

According to France Football via GFFN the Reds are very interested in Leeds United’s Raphinha. The Brazilian winger who just like Fernandes spent time at Sporting is currently excelling in the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa.

His silky skills and ability to thread passes through defensive blocks has been the highlight of Leeds’ season so far and is very much reminiscent of Bruno Fernandes.

On top of that Raphinha also has the pace to thrive under Jurgen Klopp’s system. His all-round ability has made him stand-out in the Premier League and there are no surprises the Reds are interested in him.

Having struggled to break down defences this season and with Klopp’s front three very clearly jaded, an injection of energy through a player like Raphinha could revive the Reds attacking prowess.

The Brazilian has the ability to unlock defences. His link-up play is excellent and he could make a similar impact to Diogo Jota.

Of course Leeds will be unlikely to sell their prized asset on the cheap, but with Raphinha’s high ceiling potential, Klopp and Michael Edwards must do everything in their power to bring the Brazilian to Anfield.
