Divock Origi will forever be synonymous with Liverpool Football Club. The Belgian has endeared himself to Reds supporters all over the world by delivering some indelible memories and historic moments for the club.

His contributions will never be forgotten and his name is already in the history books.

Yet for someone who has become such an iconic figure, never has there been a player who divides opinions so intensely.

Divock Origi has never been a superstar at Anfield. He has always been on the fringes whilst having brief fleeting periods and spells where he excelled.

Divock Origi’s time at Liverpool is up.

Having served the club for over half a decade, it seems like his time might finally be up however.

In recent games, Origi has proved to be ineffective. He has often squandered his chances and has looked lacklustre when in possession.

The Belgian is missing his sharpness and he is looking like a shadow of the player Klopp could always bet on to come up trumps for him.

The current season is probably the last we will see of Divock Origi under Klopp.

It’s likely that the German’s patience and loyalty has worn off. The Reds were looking to ship him from the club in the January window with no avail. Though they will likely have a better chance of that in the summer.

And if the Reds are prepared to flog Origi, his perfect replacement could be from a familiar destination.

Patson Daka has been dubbed as the ‘next Erling Haaland’ by many at Red Bull Salzburg.

The Zambian international has 27 goal contributions from 24 games this season which is a hugely impressive return.

On top of that the 22 year old is also a major supporter of the Reds. According to his coach Lee Kawanu speaking to First Time Finish, ‘it was a dream come true’ for Patson Daka to play against Klopp’s side last season.

In pre-season Patson Daka also netted a brace against Liverpool highlighting just what a dangerous player he could be.

He would suits the Reds’ style of play too with the forward an excellent presser of the ball and possessing the pace to form a deadly partnership with the Reds’ current front three.
