Liverpool will fight Manchester United for ‘next Philippe Coutinho’
By Bence Bocsak
Phillippe Coutinho has his haters and his admirers at Liverpool. There are some who still yearn for a player of his ilk. Others who adore him and a few who view him as nothing but a treacherous traitor who betrayed the club.
One thing is for sure, the Reds’ former little magician could certainly be of help amidst the club’s latest turmoil.
After all, Phillippe Coutinho had the uncanny ability to unlock the most rigid and sturdy defences. The Brazilian could weave around his opponents and he had the vision to conjure up chances out of thin air for his teammates.

In his absence, the Reds have struggled at times to break a deadlock. Often they have relied on brilliant individual moments from their front three. Or a set-piece directed towards the towering and hulking figure of Virgil Van Dijk.
Liverpool need more creativity.
However, soon the club’s reliance on those figures might be over.
According to Gianlugi Longari via the Peoples Person both Jurgen Klopp and Man United are fighting it out for the next Brazilian creative midfielder to have emerged in the Premier League in Leeds United’s Raphinha.
Just like Coutinho Raphinha has the flair and the creativity to become influential in games. He is exactly what Jurgen Klopp needs at Anfield.
It will be a difficult transfer fight with the club’s arch rivals but the Reds should be able to conquer. Raphinha could have a transformative impact on the team.
Like Coutinho he could make the Reds’ attack free-flowing again and silky smooth. Raphinha has been one of the biggest revelations in the Premier League this season.
Do you think Raphinha would be a good signing for the club?
