RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 22-year-old had a good game against Sheffield United and he’ll be keen on having another fine outing in a tougher match against Chelsea. Alexander-Arnold managed to find the net the last time both sides met at Anfield and we could see him trying to at least grab an assist or two on Thursday while also attempting for a goal while taking a free-kick.

More from Rush The Kop

CB – Ozan Kabak

With Jordan Henderson out for a while, the Turkish international is assured of a start in the next few games. Kabak had a fairly decent game against the Blades that include a shaky moment or two but he’ll be looking to deliver a stronger display against Chelsea this week.

CB – Fabinho

The Brazilian international will be back in the starting XI after missing their last few fixtures. Klopp didn’t rule out the possibility of starting Fabinho in midfield but the chances of that happening during the remainder of the season look slim, let alone the match on Thursday.

The former Monaco man will partner Kabak in the heart of defence and he’ll be expected to be solid at the back while also contributing to his team’s offensive play through long balls.

LB – Andy Robertson

The Scottish international will undoubtedly start and will be expected to be solid at the back while also contributing in his team’s offensive play. Its been a while since Robertson bagged an assist so Thursday’s fixture would be a fine time for him to do so.
