Tonight’s fixture in the Champions League could be one that determines the future of the club and the entire season. It is a cup final in every essence of the world and Liverpool desperately need to come out victorious.
The pressure will be on Jurgen Klopp, despite having a 2-0 advantage. But such a score-line as proven time and time again in the competition is fragile. Especially based on the Reds’ current run of form, and RB Leipzig’s impressive performances in recent weeks.
The Germans will be rubbing their hands to take the game onto Liverpool in Budapest and you would be your life on it there will be nervous times for the Reds this evening.

However, there might be one piece of positive news for Jurgen Klopp and his side.
It’s do or die for Liverpool.
RB Leipzig’s danger man and as First Time Finish writes ‘one of the best players in his position’ Angelino could be out of the game to face Liverpool according to Leipzig’s official account.
Angelino caused a major threat to the club’s right flank in the previous tie in Budapest so no doubt Trent Alexander-Arnold will be relieved to not have to play against the Spaniard.
Angelino currently has the registered the most goals and assists for RB Leipzig so his absence will be a major loss especially when the German club are in need of a goal.
Of course this should not mean that the Reds have their guard down. RB Leipzig still poses a lot of threats and they will be pumped up to face a side that has wilted in confidence and has lost every game apart from the Sheffield United fixture since the two sides have met.
Klopp and his side need to get their act together. Advancing through the Champions League presents the only chance for the club to qualify for the highly esteemed competition next season.
It’s do or die.
Not qualifying will be have huge ramifications and financial implications for the club.
Klopp’s men must prove their mettle.
Thankfully at least they will not have to worry about the stupendous skill of Angelino.
Do you think the Reds can beat Leipzig?
