Liverpool could kickstart their summer clearout with an offer from Serie A side Napoli.
This could be a big off-season for the Reds, who have a number of squad players who no longer look fit for purpose.
Jurgen Klopp struggles to rotate the side. The men who come into the team as replacements for Gini Wijnaldum or Roberto Firmino or Andy Robertson struggle to make an impact and show why they should be in the team.
Liverpool don’t have much strength
We’ve seen lads like Naby Keita or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fail to impress Klopp when called upon, while Divock Origi appears to have run his race in Liverpool colours.
Xherdan Shaqiri could be another out the door, and in truth, the Swiss international has never hit the heights we saw during the second half of his debut campaign.
One man who could start the clearout is Kostas Tsimikas, the Greek international signed to act as cover for Robertson. Klopp has given him just five minutes of action in the Premier League as Tsimkas has struggled to adapt to the demands of the job.

TeamTalk has reported that Serie A side Napoli could be interested in signing Tsimikas, should Klopp decide to move on the Greek. Back in January, Liverpool rejected two bids from his homeland and they should prepare themselves for more interest at the end of the season.
Faouzi Ghoulam has been struck down with an ACL injury, so Napoli will need someone to come in and perform a first-team role while the Algerian recovers from that blow.
However, we know that new signings often take their time to integrate with the team and get used to Klopp’s demands.
Nobody would have expected Tsimikas to take this long to get up to speed, but he’s also suffered from COVID-19 and injuries – which will slow things down.
If Liverpool decide to sell Tsimikas, it’s more likely to be at the end of next season, not this one.
