Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp set to raid Arsenal and Mikel Arteta favourite

Liverpool have very rarely made advances to sign players from England’s capital city. Especially from Arsenal. Yet it seems like the Reds could be targeting a Gunner and one of Mikel Arteta’s favourites in a bad to bolster their squad during the summer window.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta have endured a horrendous season so far. The club have often sat on the bottom half of the Premier League table which for a team of Arsenal’s magnitude is simply not good enough.
However, there have been some bright moments, especially the January arrival of Martin Odegaard who has given the Gunners a new spring in their step.

But the Norwegian is only on loan from Real Madrid, which means his future could see him end up anywhere in the summer.
Liverpool could make a shock move.
While Arsenal will be desperate to secure his services. It seems like they will not be the only ones vying to sign Martin Odegaard.
According to the Daily Star via the Daily Express, Liverpool will also be looking to make a move for the Norwegian star.
With Klopp side struggling to create chances and score this season, Odegaard could be an astute addition.
The Norwegian has the ability to unlock defences and he is in the same mould as Philippe Coutinho – a player the Reds have not really replaced since his departure to Barcelona.
Odegaard could thrive under Klopp and while the move would infuriate Arsenal fans, in this day and age the club has to be merciless.
The only obstacle in their way might be the fact that Real Madrid will demand a steep figure for the midfielder who is still only 22 years of age.
