Liverpool is seriously cooking right now and Fabrizio Romano just announced their new player - Will Wright from Salford City.
After winning the Premier League title last season, Liverpool isn't messing around. They want further success, and Arne Slot sees the summer transfer window as the catalyst for this.
What was most impressive about Arne Slot's Premier League win wasn't that he did it within his first season, but that he did it by inheriting a team outside of his control.
Now he's proven he can give Liverpool some success, the board is repaying him in trust by signing the players he wants.
Fabrizio Romano just announced 'new Liverpool player'
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool just added a new player to their roster. They have signed Will Wright from Salford City on a 3 year deal. His contract runs until 2028 and now he's completed the second part of his medical, Romano dubbed him as a 'new Liverpool player.'
As it stands, there is no official confirmation from Liverpool FC. The last post on their X account was an update from their pre-season visit to Tokyo, Japan.

So, Fabrizio hasn't just updated the Liverpool fanbase of their new player, but he beat the official club account to it. Of course, fans will naturally remain sceptical until the new contract is announced, but Fabrizio's announcements are often as good as.
Will Wright received great interest from some huge clubs. It looked likely that he would sign for Arsenal, but ultimately, it was Liverpool who got the deal over the line.
Will Wright is a signing for the future, not present
Look, Liverpool fans aren't expecting Wright to come in and start every Premier League match. Heck, he might even get sent out on loan or play in the academy before he's even given consideration in the Liverpool first team. Regardless, this is an exciting signing for the future.
Wright is a great target man. His physical presence makes him a great option in the air, and with Liverpool boasting creativity from out wide, this gives them a target-man option for the future.
Of course, Wright still has time to work on the other facets to his game. At Liverpool, particularly under the management of Arne Slot, he will be given all the resources he can to succeed.
Something great is brewing at Anfield right now, and the teenager has been signed at the right time to have some of that success himself.
Let's hope he can learn a thing or two by watching Alexander Isak...
