On Saturday, Liverpool take on Huddersfield town away at the John Smith’s Stadium, after a lengthy international break for the Reds.

After a tumultuous break for Liverpool with many key players falling to injury including the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Naby Keita, and Virgil van Dijk. Keeping that in mind along with just coming off of a break from each other, it could spell disaster for the men from Merseyside, making it a big opportunity to drop points in a vital portion of the season.

However, that will not happen. Liverpool will put on a goal fest on Saturday and get back to their winning ways of normal. They have been sputtering to a point, only scoring two goals in their last four games that also featured no wins.

After gaining some confidence over the international break with some of our players scoring some very class goals and playing well, they should be ready to go against a very sub-par Huddersfield team. Sometimes a little break and rest is all a team needs to click, and this is what is going to happen for the Reds.

Huddersfield have only gained three points from eight fixtures in the Premier League with no wins yet. Even after putting in some solid games against tough opponents, they look shaky at best. After this week-long break, do not be surprised if Jurgen Klopp’s men come out and bag five goals or more against this team.

They have not been able to have a goal fest yet, and it is something I see as an issue that is holding us back in bigger games. Players are less susceptible to try to do creative things and everybody is just lacking that little bit of world-class touch we had last year. This is a game where Jurgen should go for it from the start, and just try to put Huddersfield in the ground with the high Gegenpress.

After one goal in the first fifteen minutes, the game will open up and allow Liverpool to score at least three by the half. Hopefully, this allows the boys to put in at least five by games end. This could be a game that sparks a run against some easier opponents for Liverpool, and would end the typical fall collapse that we usually see as fans.

It could also be the moment where things start to really connect with the lads. We saw it last year against Maribor when the squad won 7-0 around this time after shaky games against Sevilla and Tottenham. That game sparked the creativity and desire in the team, and we really did not look back after it. This could be that sort of game. In the Premier League, having a spell like that early on can spell early title favorites as well, which is something all Liverpool fans are dying to see.
