Two Liverpool ‘big six’ rival managers are on the bookmaker’s top five favorites to take on the Real Madrid job if it becomes available this week.

While the mutual love affair between Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool Football Club rolls into its fourth year there is maybe some managerial changes at some of the club’s rivals. Two of the current “big six” managers have made it on to the bookies favorites to be the next manager at Real Madrid.

The top three are clear favorites with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, ex-Real player Santiago Solari and former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger heading the list. But beneath that there is more speculation.

More from Rush The Kop

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pocchetino is only 16/1 with Bet Victor to be the next manager of Real Madrid. He has been impressive in making Spurs a regular in the Champions League and has formed a solid squad in North London.

He has yet to win a trophy in his career so it would be a huge opportunity for him to turn down if the job was made available to him.

Paddy Power believe Jose Mourinho could return to the Spanish capital and have him at 20/1. The Portuguese manager is having a torrid time at Manchester United and could face the sack any week now. The timing could open up perfectly for him to walk into his old job at the Bernabeu.

We know he is not afraid to return to old haunts after having two spells at Chelsea. Though there was no love lost when the two parties separated in 2013.

Paddy Power have also given odds for Jurgen Klopp being the next manager of Real Madrid. They have him at 66/1 but they seem too short for me. Big Jurg is a Red and will be here for years to come.
