Duncan Castles embarrasses himself again with his Liverpool comments
By David Gate
Liverpool fans are laughing again at journalist Duncan Castles who is embarrassing himself with his tiny minded partisan analysis of the Reds.
Liverpool are top of the Premier League and have one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League and poor little Duncan Castles can’t stand it.
The job hopping journalist cannot contain his bitterness as it creeps out into his bizarre assessment of Liverpool’s recent performances. He asserts that the Reds have been lucky and are “not playing very well at the moment”.

Liverpool have won six straight in the Premier League and Europe and have not lost a game since the first week of January 2019. We are now in the middle of April.
However the Scottish journo insists that Liverpool are living a charmed life and will drop points sooner rather than later.
Castles is famous for being a shill for both Manchester United and Jose Mourinho. So it should be no surprise that he is paranoid that this record busting Liverpool side might win a trophy or two.
He has a long history of saying very stupid things about Liverpool. He was one of the chief accusers of Jurgen Klopp’s first two years at the club, and loved to put out statistical comparisons of Klopp with Rodgers.
Yet everyone with eyes and a teaspoon of sense could see Klopp was building a better side and time has proven Castles’ assessments to be severely lacking.
Liverpool were excellent in the first half against Spurs, the second half against Southampton and not terrible in the other halves of those games at all. They did look below par against Fulham but managed to see off the 19th placed side away from home.
If United or Mourinho were in this position I’m sure he would be praising the dogged spirit and never say die attitude and tactical genius. His partisan views are transparent and I hope he gets to see the Reds lift the title.
