Bin him! Liverpool fans reaction to Champions League squad news
By David Gate
Liverpool have announced their 21 player squad for tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Porto and the fans are having the same reaction to one player.
Liverpool have named the 21 players who will be part of the Champions League quarter-final second leg tie with Porto tomorrow, which you can read below. However Red fans are having the same negative reaction to one player who is not on the list; Dejan Lovren.
The Croatian international started the first leg last week after missing a large chunk of time with a hamstring. Joel Matip returned to the side for the win against Chelsea at the weekend and Lovren went to the bench.

Many thought Lovren would start tomorrow night to rest Matip ahead of the Premier League title run-in but the defender is not even included in the squad, leaving many Reds annoyed at the World Cup finalist.
He has clearly fallen to fourth choice after Joe Gomez‘ excellent start to the season and Joel Matip’s return to form while the Englishman has been on the sidelines.
Lovren commands a high wage for a defender, let alone one who would not even make the bench if everyone is fit. That leads many to believe the Reds will try to sell Lovren this summer, with Serie A teams drawing most interest.
Gomez has been named in the squad after coming through a reserve team game on Saturday. If he and Matip stay fit, there is a chance that Lovren has played his last game for the club.
The full squad for Porto: Fabinho, Virgil Van Dijk, Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner, Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Joe Gomez, Alisson Becker, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Alberto Moreno, Adam Lallana, Simon Mignolet, Xherdan Shaqiri, Andrew Robertson, Divock Origi, Joel Matip, Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
