Liverpool fans are loving the confidence of manager Jurgen Klopp who claims the Reds will be back in next year’s Champions League in Istanbul.
No sooner had the tears of celebration began to dry on the faces of Liverpool fans than Jurgen Klopp was making bold predictions about the 2020 Champions League final.
In his post-match press conference, the German manager was asked about the future and how whether or not the Reds will kick on and win more trophies over the coming seasons.

The journalist mentioned losing last year, winning this weekend and that the next Champions League final will be in Istanbul – a place that holds a little history for the club.
Klopp did not hold back with his answer: “I’ve already told UEFA; we will be there. We do it now every year.”
Semi-joking and semi-serious. He then went on to talk about how difficult a third Champions League final appearance would be. He isn’t wrong.
The Reds will have to add the Community Shield, European Super Cup and World Club Championship to their schedule next year. That’s a bunch more games and a heap more traveling to include after another long season.

Liverpool will get to check out Istanbul soon as they will play Chelsea in the European Super Cup there on August 14th. The Blues won the Europa League and set up another all-English tie for silverware.
Jurgen Klopp will take a well-earned summer break before heading back to Melwood at the end of the month to begin plans for another tilt at the Premier League title and a return to Istanbul next summer.
