“TWICE!” – The funniest Pep Guardiola memes from Liverpool v Man City
By David Gate
Liverpool toppled Man City in a huge Premier League clash yesterday but the internet was set alight by memes from the Pep Guardiola touchline meltdown.
Liverpool took control of the Premier League title race yesterday after beating the current champions Man City 3-1 at Anfield. However, the internet is obsessing over the memes of Pep Guardiola breaking down on the sidelines.
The Spaniard struggled to keep in his emotions throughout the match. They felt aggrieved for Liverpool’s opening goal because it appeared to hit the hand of Trent Alexander-Arnold in the area just before.

There are some angles that make it look like the ball didn’t hit his hand but hit his hip instead. The official line from the Premier League is that the ball also hit Bernardo Silva‘s hand just before so no penalty would have been given.
They were still reeling from the decision when Liverpool marched down the pitch leading to Fabinho scorching home his second goal for the club.
Then the second goal was a very tight offside decision that VAR sided with the officials to allow the Mohamed Salah strike to stand.
Therefore, by the 83rd minute of the match, 3-1 down and looking at a nine-point deficit in the league table, Guardiola loses the plot at another decision he thinks has gone against his side.
He runs up to the fourth official and screams “TWICE” numerous times, waving two fingers in the air, and generally seeming unhinged. Here is the incident in beautiful gif form:

It was hilarious. And the internet – fans from all clubs – agreed:
The Reds head into the international break eight points clear of Leicester City and Chelsea and nine points ahead of Man City who are in fourth. Now comes the praying for every player to return healthy and injury free from their national duties.
